Celebrate Public Lands Day by getting your hands a little dirty for the Island Park Reservoir! Join the Henrys Fork Wildlife Alliance, Lakeside Lodge, and the Caribou-Targhee National Forest to remove abandoned tubes, lonely flip-flops, plastic debris and crumbling dock foam before it ends up in the stomachs of fish and aquatic birds. After all, dock foam belongs in docks, not ducks!

We’ll begin with a brief safety talk, orientation, and route selection before fanning out along the shoreline. And because good deeds work up an appetite, volunteers will enjoy a free lunch!
What to bring:
- Water
- Bear spray (we’ll have loaners if you need one)
- Work gloves (we'll have loaners if you need them)
- A basic first-aid kit
- Sun and rain protection
- A pocketknife for cutting old rope
- Binoculars for a little birding between trash grabs
