As seasons shift and our Island Park Chamber of Commerce enters a new chapter, we want to take a moment to say thank you and goodbye to some of our most dedicated members—leaders whose service has left a mark on our community.
Rob Illum
Rob has been a pillar of commitment and leadership. Since moving here in 2018 with his wife Angie, Rob has not only made Island Park his home but has also shared his talents and passion through RJI Construction. Known around town as “the roofing expert,” Rob’s expertise has extended far beyond roofs—it’s been about building trust, structure, and integrity in everything he does. We deeply appreciate the energy, wisdom, and steady hand Rob brought to his time on the board, especially during his term as President. Thank you, Rob, for helping keep Island Park strong and well-built in more ways than one.
Kerry Almond
From stepping in to fill a vacant president position to guiding our Chamber through times of change, Kerry has shown what service truly means. With his own business—Yellowstone Fly Shop & Guide Service—and his work at Henry’s Fork Anglers, Kerry has blended business acumen and community spirit. His 4 years on the board have been marked by willingness, leadership, and a genuine love for Island Park. Kerry, we thank you for every meeting, every challenge, and every step you took to help steer us forward.
Glade Gunnell
Glade has been part of our Chamber for decades, bringing deep roots and family-connections to our area. As the owner of Island Park Builders Supply and having served both as Vice President and President, Glade has helped shape not only the physical landscape of our town, but also its communal heart. Raising his family here, he has shown us what it means to invest in a place with both hands and heart. Glade, your legacy of care, craft, and civic pride raised the bar for all of us.
Stephanie Almond
Stepping into the role of Executive Director is usually a daunting task—and Stephanie did it with grace, passion, and vision. Her leadership, care, and drive have helped the Chamber grow and adapt, even in times that demanded flexibility and courage. Though Stephanie has moved on to Boise, the footprint she leaves behind—strengthened connections, new ideas, and inspired people—will continue to ripple through Island Park. We are grateful for all you’ve done, Stephanie, and we wish you every success in this new chapter.
Looking Forward with Gratitude
While we bid farewell to Rob, Kerry, Glade, and Stephanie, we also carry hope and excitement for what’s ahead. Their service has helped build a foundation for growth—one rooted in commitment, vision, and genuine love for Island Park. To the community: it is because people like these give so freely of their time that Island Park is such a special place.
Let’s send them off with the respect, appreciation, and well wishes they deserve.
With gratitude,
Island Park Chamber of Commerce
