About our Winter Map
The purpose of this map is to provide information that will help visitors best navigate the winter routes of the West Yellowstone and Island Park areas. The map also shows information regarding trailheads, parking, and service information. It's a joint project of West Yellowstone and Island Park Chambers of Commerce as well as Custer Gallatin National Forest, Caribou - Targhee National Forest, Montana State Parks, and Idaho State Park and Recreation. Both Island Park and West Yellowstone print their own version of the map with their unique advertisers but identical content (topo maps/ legends/rules and regulations).
We have been working with the Idaho and Montana Forest Service and Parks and Recreation and many changes to the base map are already in the works. Now the Winter Trail map ads need to be secured ASAP. As always we are going out to current advertisers first and others will be offered afterwards. We musdt have your commitment no later than October 31st or you may lose your space for this year and going forward. Space will only be offered to advertisers in good standing with the Chamber. If you have questions about your account, please call or email to verify that you're eligible and that your account is current or join the chamber on our website. You can add your membership to the cart, then add your map ad to the cart and check out all at the same time.
We will print 12,000 maps again and the goal is always to get them in hand before the holidays. Ad prices, specs and HARD deadlines noted below. If no response is received by these deadlines, we will assume you will not be advertising and will offer the space to another chamber member on the waiting list.
Deadlines
- October 29th current advertisers must commit to keep space
- November 6th artwork is due or space may be given to new advertisers
- November 15th edits complete and sent to press
- Goal to have maps shipped from printer before 12/15
Pricing
- $400 for a single 3.5 X 2 color ad
- $750 for a double 3.5 X 4.25 color ad
- $1,150 for a triple ad 3.5 x 6.5 color ad.
Use our convenient e-commerce payment option by selecting your ad size, entering the business name, and then pressing add to cart. Repeat the process for each business you'd like to advertise in each map. Once ready, click on the cart at the top right and review your order, then proceed to checkout. We will follow up and coordinate your ad's artwork and placement.
