Haunts of Harriman

Bundle up the kids and head to Harriman State Park for two nights of not-too-scary Halloween fun! Haunts of Harriman is back with something for every age: trick-or-treating, carnival games, hay rides, a Spook Alley, indoor movies, face painting, and a visit to the park's fortune teller. The whole place will be glowing with lights, and there'll be hot cocoa and cookies to keep everyone warm on a crisp October evening.

A $10 per-family donation is suggested at the entrance to help keep this local tradition going strong. The local food bank will also be on hand collecting canned goods, so bring a few cans if you can spare them.

Want to help out? Harriman is looking for volunteers both nights to hand out candy, run carnival games, help with the indoor movies, serve cookies and cocoa, staff the face painting booth, direct traffic, and collect donations at the entrance. Call 208-558-7368 to sign up.
